Green City, MO —
A local man never served in the military, but is serving those who did. Orin Jackson is the Chairman/Founder of Hickory Hills Veterans Lodge, in Green City, Missouri. It’s a way for him to make a difference, one life at a time.
“By the time they leave, they’re a whole different person,” said Orin Jackson, a lifetime builder. Jackson partnered with dozens of corporations and individual donors from Kansas City to Saint Louis to start the Hickory Hills Veterans Lodge, a 501(c)3. “What we do is offer the help and support, the hand up, to strengthen the ongoing recovery process for the Veterans,” said Jackson during a recent trip to the lodge, located in Sullivan County.
